tumblr

I've made a tumblr version because to me tumblr seems to be a bit more accessible to most. (Plus I can easily view what I've posted in the past.) But I'll still post here just as often & I'll be posting downloads only on here. I'll also be re-posting many of the mangas I've already recommended on here for those who only view the tumblr version. (Sorry for that. Thanks for still reading what I post, lol. & I'm also posting new stuff on there, so it'll hopefully be a tolerable mix.)

So if you'd like to check it out, here's the link: ゆうの日毎 @tumblr

Random GL

I don’t usually read shoujo-ai but I’m trying to understand humanity more, for myself & friends, thus I took up reading it recently. The first story I read after a few years happened to just, thankfully be, an amazing one. I’ve completely fallen for this mangaka. No matter what genre’s (aside from H) they may venture into in the future; I shall follow! Beautiful, clean art & simple, pure, realistic, & beautiful stories. They all have an amazing, simple charm to them. This story is no exception. It’s about unrequited love, heartbreak, & the awakening of something new. It’s a sweet story. I hope, if you read it, you will enjoy it as I did.

「片恋姫」
Katakoihime

Mangaka: 乙ひより (Otsu Hiyori)
Genre: Drama, School Life, Shoujo Ai
Summary: “Ooishi has never had a crush on anyone, believing it was easier not to love. Until the moment she meets Mizuho, a self-proclaimed “Mermaid” who’s love will never be returned.” - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

Because traps/cross-dressers are in lately. (& I have no problem with that.) As much as I’d love to kick off the “genre” with a BL or trap manga, I think I’ll try easing people into it (in hopes of recruiting followers to the interest, hurhur.) So, that being said, this is a great cross-dressing themed shoujo manga. Good art (shoujo style of course) with some interesting characters & some funny situations. (Even the side character related oneshots are good.) If you’d like to read something “relatively/barely” serious that will make you laugh, this is a good one. I think everyone should be able to enjoy it (& I hope you do).

「うそつきリリィ」

Usotsuki Lily

Mangaka: 小村あゆみ (Komura Ayumi)
Genre: Comedy, Gender Bender, Romance, School Life, Shoujo
Summary: “Hinata Saotome is suddenly asked out by En Shinohara, a gorgeous boy in her grade. What she doesn’t know, though, is that his hobby is cross-dressing! En has always hated men, and whenever he sees his own reflection, he punches out whatever is doing the reflecting (windows, mirrors…). To combat this hatred, he dresses up as a girl. Hinata decides to go out with him anyway, despite his weird hobby.” - Baka-Updates

Daily BL

Today's BL is a beautiful Tsurugi Kai/Asagiri Yuu collaboration work. With Tsurugi-sensei's beautiful art & Asagiri-sensei's interesting (& quite sexy) story, this is a great read. Asagiri-sensei came up with an amazingly interesting concept about an author/musician who can "see" sound in colors. I found it to be pretty fascinating (plus it made the sex scenes very interesting, lol.) I hope you will like it.

「Mr.シークレットフロア 小説家の戯れなひびき」
Mr. Secret Floor

Author: あさぎり夕 (Asagiri Yuu)
Mangaka: 剣解 (Tsurugi Kai)
Genre: Yaoi
Summary: "In the super luxurious hotel Grand Ocean Ship Tokyo, there’s a special floor exclusive for royalty, tycoons, politicians, and Hollywood stars. To keep their anonymity, they are referred to as “Mr. Secret Floor” by the staff.

Yamagi Kyo, bestselling novelist, is a permanent resident in one of the rooms in this secret floor. In fact, he’s the half brother of the owner, Shirahase Taka, from a different mother. As a famous mystery writer, he’s sought after by many publishers. Aiba Takuto from Cosmo Publisher was newly appointed to handle the task of obtaining the famous novelist's manuscripts. How far would this new editor go to get the manuscripts?" - Baka-Updates

Shoujo-Ai

Should I start randomly recommending some? I hardly ever read it but I'm trying to appreciate it more because I have bi/lesbian friends & I do enjoy understanding humanity in it's entirety even just a little bit more. So. The question is. Would anyone be interested in the genre if I were to start recommending some stories?

Daily Manga

Today's manga, Heartbroken Chocolatier, by the great Mizushiro Setona-sensei is an interesting one. It's classified shoujo but seems more josei/seinen to me. Who knows/cares. Beautiful art and a great story. All about unrequited love, chocolate, & human relations. Only a few chapters have been scanned thus far, so you might not get that explanation for awhile, but eventually. (I'm trying not give anything away.) It's currently ongoing so I can't say too much, but thus far; I love it. It's put together perfectly. It's so balanced while handling things people usually consider taboo & things people usually over dramatize that I can only call it a masterpiece. No wonder it's been nominated for the 4th manga Taisho awards. At any rate. If you read it, I hope you'll enjoy it.

「失恋ショコラティエ」
Shitsuren Chocolatier

Mangaka: 水城せとな (Mizushiro Setona)
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance, Shoujo
Summary: "Souta, who's attending a confectionary school, is in a relationship with Saeko, a girl one year older than him. He fell in love at first sight with her four years ago, and right before Christmas last year, they finally had their first kiss. Because his girlfriend really loves chocolate, every day, Souta tries to polish his chocolate-making skills. Even when his girlfriend smells like cigarettes although she doesn't smoke, even when she turns down his invitation to a date on Valentine's day, he's still not broken-hearted at all, and he still continues to love her...

Nominated for the 4th Manga Taisho Awards (2011)." - Baka-Updates
