Daily Manga

Because traps/cross-dressers are in lately. (& I have no problem with that.) As much as I’d love to kick off the “genre” with a BL or trap manga, I think I’ll try easing people into it (in hopes of recruiting followers to the interest, hurhur.) So, that being said, this is a great cross-dressing themed shoujo manga. Good art (shoujo style of course) with some interesting characters & some funny situations. (Even the side character related oneshots are good.) If you’d like to read something “relatively/barely” serious that will make you laugh, this is a good one. I think everyone should be able to enjoy it (& I hope you do).

「うそつきリリィ」

Usotsuki Lily

Mangaka: 小村あゆみ (Komura Ayumi)
Genre: Comedy, Gender Bender, Romance, School Life, Shoujo
Summary: “Hinata Saotome is suddenly asked out by En Shinohara, a gorgeous boy in her grade. What she doesn’t know, though, is that his hobby is cross-dressing! En has always hated men, and whenever he sees his own reflection, he punches out whatever is doing the reflecting (windows, mirrors…). To combat this hatred, he dresses up as a girl. Hinata decides to go out with him anyway, despite his weird hobby.” - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

I had actually been avoiding this one for years because when I read it in middle school, I wasn't very into it. But I figured I had to give it another chance & started rereading it a few months back. That was one of the best choices I've ever made, lol. It's ana amazing story. Long, very entertaining, & extremely well written/illustrated. It's comical yet serious with great art. The name fits it perfectly. So, if you've yet to read this one; I definately recommend it. It's probably in my top 10.

「風光る」
Kaze Hikaru

Mangaka: 渡辺多恵子 (Watanabe Taeko)
Genre: Action, Gender Bender, Historical, Romance, Shoujo
Summary: "In the year 1863, a time fraught with violent social upheaval, samurai of all walks of life flock to Kyoto in the hope of joining the Mibu-Roshi--a band of warriors united around their undying loyalty to the Shogunate system. In time, this group would become one of the greatest (and most famous) movements in Japanese history... the Shinsengumi!

In 2003 Kaze Hikaru won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shoujo." - Baka-Updates

Daily BL

For today's BL I'm actually recommending a mangaka's complete works (-3 older hetero works) which are all FMA doujin. Most are Ed x Al (in the alternate world) but there are a few Ed x Roy. The art is, well, indescribably beautiful. I had a hard time picking a cover to share, lol. The stories are also amazing(ly sexy and beautiful) and some tie into each other. All the scanned works can be downloaded at Scan-Clan (the scanners). I Hope you enjoy them.

Depicted: Minature Garden
Story: Al's desire; gender bender

Mangaka: Idea (イデア )
Genre: Doujinshi, Drama, Gender Bender, Psychological, Slice of Life, Shounen Ai, Yaoi
Description: Full Metal Alchemist doujinshi. Mainly Ed x Al, but there are a few Ed x Roy (my favorite.)

Daily Manga

I can not resist sharing this one. It has got to be one of the most funny, crazy, desperate mangas I have ever read, lol. It is so screwing and so pathetic that you can't stop your self from bursting out in hysterical laughter sometimes. It's up high on my list of favorites so it'd be great if you could enjoy it too, lol. Happy reading~

「ニコイチ」
Nicoichi

Mangaka: 金田一蓮十郎 (Kindaichi Renjuurou)

Daily Manga

Today's manga is one of the funniest, greatest, most crazy mangas I've ever read. I'm also recommending the anime, for it is amazing as well! What's it about? A young man, pursuing an agricultural career who can see and speak with germs! I learned quite a few scary things from this one, including the existence of a food known as Kiviak... Enjoy! (lol.)

「もやしもん」
Moyashimon

Mangaka: 石川雅之 (Ishikawa Masayuki)
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Gender Bender, School Life, Seinen
Summary: "Tadayasu Sawaki is a young man with a very strange ability: he can talk with bacteria/microscopic beings. He enrolls at Tokyo Agriculture College, where people seem to be just as abnormal as he is...

From Gekkoukan High Scans:
Meet Sawaki Tadayasu, second son of yeast preparation suppliers, whom is forced to go to an agricultural university and continue the family business. He has the unique ability to see microbes. He and his friend, Kei, are taken as students to the fermentation-process obsessed Itsuki-sensei. This manga follows Sawaki as he tries to make his way through university as discreetly as possible…which is pretty impossible if you’re as unique as he is.

Moyashimon won the 2008 Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize for Grand Prize and the 2008 Kodansha Manga Award for general manga.

It was also nominated for the 1st Manga Taishō in 2008." - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

So today's manga is a new release and one of my absolute favorite mangas. I found it one day in Kinokuniya when I was caught by an image of one of my favorite creatures, a jellyfish, on the cover of "Kiss" magazine. I ended up buying the thing and getting myself addicted to this and one other story in the magazine. The art is great and the story is just hilarious. The name translates to "Jellyfish Princess". You can see why I grabbed it, na? xD Well! Hope you all enjoy it!

「海月姫」
Kurage Hime
