Today's BL is a beautiful Tsurugi Kai/Asagiri Yuu collaboration work. With Tsurugi-sensei's beautiful art & Asagiri-sensei's interesting (& quite sexy) story, this is a great read. Asagiri-sensei came up with an amazingly interesting concept about an author/musician who can "see" sound in colors. I found it to be pretty fascinating (plus it made the sex scenes very interesting, lol.) I hope you will like it.

Today's BL is one I recently read by Ike Reibun. I'm probably over-thinking it and reading too much into it, but if I'm not; Ike Reibun is a genius. An amazing, beautiful, incredible person. Why? Because from what I can see in this oneshot; She seems to be addressing the recent manga ban, the stupidity & power of the politicians, & the mindless sheep-like personality of the populace. It seems to address so many of the issues in such a terrifying yet hilarious manner that one can not help but be incredibly impressed and can't help loving the story. Even if that is not Ike Reibun's intention; I still loved this story. I hope you do, too. (And yes, the cover below & the story listed are different. The cover reads "Natsu ni Shiniyuku Monogatari" & does not seem to be listed in BU. If you'd like to know more; Google it yourself.)

A new series by Nitta-sensei. Two chapters released & it's already at a level where you'd have to take a cold shower after reading. As expected, lol. But this series looks pretty interesting. A blind phsycal therapist(?) who can see visions about a person when he touches them. A cop who meets and falls in love with him, letting himself be held by him. But is the blind man really who he says he is? And why is he being investigated? It seems like it will be pretty fun to read.

A BL manhua adapted from a Chinese novel. (Novel can be found on Sooky's LJ.) Beautiful art and a pretty interesting story. BL manhua has really caught my eye lately, yet most of the ones I come across are crap. So I' glad there are so great BL novelist/manhuaga's like these two, out there. If you'd like to try something new & see some beautiful BL; this is a great choice.

Today's BL carries a nice, somewhat relaxed feel. Rather appropriate for spring (with all the great sex scenes). Good art (although not to my taste) and a cute, somewhat cheesy, story. If you're looking to read something light and sweet but a bit graphic, this would be a good one for you. Hope you enjoy.

Today's BL is yet another by my beloved Tojitsuki Hajime-sensei! (I love you! Marry me! Please!) Amazing art as always and incredibly unique and entertaining, interesting stories. Not your every day, expected scenarios. This is actually a oneshot compilation volume with the previously recommended "Even Just The Tip" which the volume is named after. So far released is that (the final chapter), Les Sciences et les Fantaisies (The 6th chapter), & the first chapter "Please Accept My Condolences". There are four other yet to be scanned oneshots included.Hopefully you, too, will find these works to be interesting and refreshing. (Please support the mangaka!)

Today's BL is by a mangaka I haven't seen enough from (please create more!). I like their art and stories in general, but I also like that they don't just do the whole "typical pretty boy" thing. Some characters are big oafs, some; hilarious dimwits or sharp meganes, and others; hairy muscled men. The diversity is really refreshing as is the art (which also happens to be devastatingly sexy, lol.). The stories are pretty good, comical, sweet, and light. As for this story; You'll have to read to see. But I will warn; the summary below is of the second chapter that has yet to be released. The first is of Kishi & Kou. Hope you enjoy.

Today's BL is by the great Yamada Sakurako-sensei. Amazing art. The main story is pretty good but personally I was more taken by two of the following oneshots; Sukima & More Pain (with no connection to the main) and to a somewhat lesser degree the second to last called "Primrose". They all have somewhat of a beautiful, dark, twisted feel to them. The last is more angsty and angry with a happy ending though. At any rate! Hope you like it.

Today's BL is by another of my favorite mangakak's; Katou Setsuko. Beautiful art interesting, sometimes twisted sometimes sweet, oneshots with a great main story. I loved them all but I'd have to say my favorite was chapter 5 - "Hako" or "Box". It was so beautifully screwed up, but the ending of pretty much all the oneshots are so damn frustrating, lol. But that aside! Hopefully you'll enjoy them too.

For today's BL I'm actually recommending a mangaka's complete works (-3 older hetero works) which are all FMA doujin. Most are Ed x Al (in the alternate world) but there are a few Ed x Roy. The art is, well, indescribably beautiful. I had a hard time picking a cover to share, lol. The stories are also amazing(ly sexy and beautiful) and some tie into each other. All the scanned works can be downloaded at Scan-Clan (the scanners). I Hope you enjoy them.

Well I'm not a fan of bara (as you may have noticed) and so this manga is probably about as close to it as I will ever be able to get. It's still full of overly muscled men with facial hair and an excessive amount of testosterone but~ It is an acceptable amount to still be considered "Yaoi" (& not yet "Bara"). Aside from that! The art is fine (& rather interesting) & the story is pretty different! It's about the tango & those who dance it. When I read it some time ago I found I actually really liked it (much to my surprise, lol.) So! I must say; even if you don't usually go for this type; give it a chance! You might be surprised. I hope you end up like it as much as I did. Have fun reading!

Today's BL is pirate themed! (I just love pirates.) I'm pretty sure it's based off of a French book? (I think I actually have it too...yep. In my eBooks, lol. But then Baka-Updates says it's by Minami Fuuko. I'm a bit confused.) So the "manga version" is my favorite. It's got some great art and an interesting plot. The only thing that gets too me is how overly dramatized and feminized the main character is. Buut; It's easy to get over. So I hope you like it.

Finally recommending a Kunieda Saika work. This one isn't my favorite by her, but I do love it a lot (I'm just saving the best for later. ;D) So! The art is great and the story is pretty funny. It's one of her more light hearted, comical stories. (I seem to prefer her more serious &/or crazy ones though, lol..) Well. Hope you like it.
