Daily Manga

So far this one looks pretty promising. It's a tale of the Gauls (the inhabitants of an old region, Gaul, the encomposed much of western Europe) resisting the control/take-over of the Romans. When the Gauls had given in, one man, Agrippa, arrives and sturs up revolt. And so the story begins. Good art and entertaining thus far.

「アグリッパ」
Agrippa

Mangaka: 内水融 (Uchimizu Tooru)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Historical, Shounen
Summary: "In 52 B.C., the Chieftain of the Arveni tribe, Vercingetorix, united the Gauls in a major revolt against the power of the Romans. This is his story, beginning with his rise to power. Taranis follows Vercingetorix as he raises his army to fight for the freedom of Gaul." - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

Today's manga is a rather amazing work by a very promising new-comer (they even won an award for being so) & it happens to fall under an amazing amount of genres, lol. The art is, well, a bit questionable at time proportionally, but then again it /is/ a shounen manga and when it really counts it's very good. Well! I hope you like this. (& if you do; please keep an eye out for their future works!)

「進撃の巨人」
Shingeki no Kyojin

Mangaka: 諌山創 (Isayama Hajime)
Genre: Action, Drama, Fantasy, Historical, Horror, Mature, Mystery, Psychological, Shounen, Supernatural, Tragedy
Summary: "Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by walling themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants.

Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Elen and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Elen vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.

Nominated for the 4th Manga Taisho Awards (2011)." - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

Today's manga is one I've been rather enamored with. I really love the art style; especially the colorings. The way they draw kimonos is amazing. Aside from that, the story itself is pretty fun, frustrating, and easy to get into. But I have to say; I can't help hating Suguro, Konekomaru, and Moriyama. They are probably the biggest bitches I have ever seen in a shounen manga, lol. But back to the main point. It's a great story; really worth a read. & The oneshot it spun off from is insanely different (just to warn if you read that first.)

「青の祓魔師」
Ao no Exorcist

Mangaka: 加藤 和恵 (Katou Kazue)
Genre: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Shounen, Supernatural
Summary: "This world consists of two dimensions joined as one, like a mirror. The first is the world in which the humans live, Assiah. The other is the world of demons, Gehenna. Ordinarily, travel between the two, and indeed any kind of contact between the two, is impossible.
However the demons can pass over into this world by possessing anything that exist within it.
Satan is the god of demons; but there's one thing that he doesn't have, and that's a substance in the human world that is powerful enough to contain him!!
For that purpose he created Rin, his son from a human woman, but will his son agree to his plans? Or will he become something else...? An exorcist?" - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

Well I'm still in the mood for horror. Somehow I can't get out of it, lol. But this is a good one! Horror or not it is really worth a read. I'd read a few chapters when it came out but got distracted for sometime and only really got back into it the other day. I also noticed that it recently got an anime but I probably wont watch it, lol. Anyways. Hope you like it.

「屍鬼」
Shiki

Author: 小野 不由美 (Ono Fuyumi)
Mangaka: 藤崎竜 (Fujisaki Ryu)
Genre: Drama, Horror, Mystery, Shounen, Supernatural, Tragedy
Summary: "Sotoba is an old-fashioned Japanese village nestled deep in the mountains. It has a small population of about 1300, and the villagers strictly follow age-old traditions and customs.
One sweltering hot summer, a mysterious and deadly disease begins to spread rapidly among the villagers, affecting young and old alike. Following these puzzling deaths, a family of beautiful and elegant individuals moves into the abandoned 'Kanemasa' mansion on the hill-side over-looking Sotoba..." - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

Today's manga is a oneshot. A really great one. Besides having awesome art it also has an amazingly interesting & (for some) eye opening plot that is pretty much unforgettable. It is definitely worth a read. Hope you like it! (& sorry for the late post. I was trying to post it last night but in the middle of it my laptop decided to slow to a snails pace & anger me into exhaustion. But at least I'm able to post it first thing this morning. Enjoy!)

「アップル」
Apple

Mangaka: 古味直志 (Komi Naoshi)
Genre: Comedy, Sci-fi, Shounen, Supernatural
Summary: "The main character (the blond ponytailed guy - yeah, guy) is Aramiya Satoshi, who main ability is shapeshifting into any animal... though at a few points he has plants growing out of him, so my guess is he can shapeshift into any living thing (including an elephant and a lion) I'm not sure if he was naturally born that way or if he was a biological experiment. Anyway, he's a pretty easygoing guy who just wants to be left alone to enjoy his solitary life in the middle of a junkyard, but apparently some army or another is always after him because of his ability, though he is able to fight off entire tank battalions before breakfast." - Baka-Updates

Daily Manga

Ok! Back from the sushi place. I had some pretty amazing ebi tempura~ (Cuz I hate sushi. D;) It's funny how my white mother can't use chopsticks to save her life and no matter how many times I tell her it's pronounced "Tenpura" she keeps saying "temm-pure-a". Well! Onto the manga! This is one I've recently become obsessed with! It's got some quality art and a very damn interesting story. I hella love the main chara, Rain. Well! Hope you like it!

「レイン」
Rain
